Tour in Thailand exists because we believe travel can do more than entertain — it can fund conservation, sustain communities, and protect culture. This page tracks what that looks like in practice.
Our Commitments
Quarterly transparency. Every quarter we publish a public report on where bookings flowed, how much went to local operators, and what our environmental fund supported.
Locally-owned only. 100% of operators on our platform are Thai-owned businesses or community-based tourism cooperatives.
Environmental fund. A portion of every booking goes to a Thailand-based environmental fund, with grants made publicly visible.
Living-wage standards. We require partner operators to demonstrate fair compensation for guides and host communities.
Quarterly Impact Reports
Reports will be published here as we begin operations. Our first report is scheduled for the quarter following public launch.
Q1 2027 report — coming after launch
Our 4-Leaf Sustainability Rating
Every experience on Tour in Thailand is rated across four dimensions of sustainability. Hover or tap each leaf to learn what it measures.
🌱 Environmental
Carbon impact, waste management, wildlife welfare, ecosystem protection. Operators must demonstrate concrete practices — not just claims.
🤝 Social
Community consent, fair treatment of staff, accessibility, inclusion. We verify that experiences are welcomed by — not imposed on — host communities.
💰 Economic
How much of your booking stays local. We measure the share of revenue that reaches operators, guides, and community partners directly.
🎭 Cultural
Respectful representation, cultural preservation, authentic exchange. Experiences must honour — not exploit — the traditions they showcase.
