Itinerary
Chiang Mai - jungle camp
In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel in Chiang Mai. By local pick-up car you go to the camp near the village of Tung La Korn. Along the way a stop is made at a local market to stock up the necessary provisions for the next two days. After this you will go to a local village where lunch will be served. Then it's time to put on the hiking boots. Today's draw takes approximately 3 hours. While walking through the jungle you will pass various viewpoints with a fantastic view of the jungle. Because this trek goes through a relatively new area, you will not encounter other groups along the way. This gives you even more the feeling that you are one with the overwhelming nature. Our end point today is the simple jungle camp where we spend the night. After a well-earned meal, the campfire is lit. Play games or sing songs while the fire slowly goes out and it's time to go to sleep.
Jungle camp - Chiang Mai
In the early morning you will be awakened by the twittering of the birds. After breakfast it's time to put on your hiking boots again. Today's draw takes approximately 2 hours. Along the way stops at various mountain tribes, such as the Meo, Lahu and Lisu. The hill tribes live in the traditional way in the jungle. Every hill tribe has its own unique and colorful clothing style. This is especially visible in the women. Then you walk further through nature, in the direction of a waterfall. Here you can enjoy a cooling dip in the water. You also visit a bat cave. Then you go down the river with a bamboo raft. The tour takes approximately 1 hour. The end point of the trip on the raft is an elephant camp. Here you can meet her special residents, after which you can treat them to a refreshing bath in the river. This is followed by the transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai, where you will arrive at the end of the afternoon.
